Guided Duck Hunts
New York May be The Best goose Hunting Destination in The United States.
With the amount of lakes, ponds, rivers, marshes, and agricultural fields across the state, New York quietly rivals places like Minnesota as one of the best places in the country to chase Canada geese. Early season is where that really shows.
September hunts focus on local resident birds that are living and feeding in predictable areas, allowing us to consistently get under geese and create fast-paced shoots. We scout hard and hunt fresh feeds and loafs located the day prior, putting you exactly where birds want to be.
With unplugged guns and 15-bird limits, these hunts can turn into absolute carnage when everything comes together. Warm weather, aggressive decoying, and tight patterns make this one of the most action-packed times of the year.
For hunters looking for high-volume shooting and non-stop opportunities, September is hard to beat.
New York continues to prove itself as a top-tier goose destination as migratory birds push into the state.
With its combination of water and agricultural ground, New York becomes a major stop for migrating geese, often holding large flocks that create the kind of hunts serious goose hunters are after.
Late season hunts are built the same way, scouting fresh feeds and loafs the day prior and setting up exactly where birds want to be. These geese have seen pressure and require a more refined approach, but when everything comes together, the payoff is unmatched.
With plugged guns and smaller limits (typically 3–5 birds), the focus shifts from volume shooting volume to an unforgettable experience. This is for the hunter who wants to watch big groups sometimes hundreds lock up, break down, and finish feet-down in the spread.
Using the right blinds, decoy spreads, and calling, combined with the knowledge of how to work pressured birds, we focus on finishing geese the way it’s meant to be done.
